The Akrapovic Racing and Evolution Exhaust Systems with their hexagonal mufflers are top of the line products for this motorcycle. They differ only in their selection of tubing material: the Racing uses stainless steel, and the Evolution uses titanium. The increases in power and torque can be clearly seen from dyno measurements and felt on the motocross track. The muffler includes a noise damper for the European market, and an approved spark arrester for the US market. Noise emissions of 94 db are within the new strict regulations. The header pipe features an additional chamber for a better response at lower rpm and for more top end power. You will also save on weight, when compared to stock exhaust systems.
